Redeem a receipt
After the T+2 unlock, a receipt exchanges its recorded debt for the principal plus everything it earned. One action, one settlement.
Steps
- Open app.loomfi.io/receipts. Each card shows its live redeemable value and a countdown until unlock.
- When the badge reads Redeemable, press Redeem.
- You need the receipt's exact
debtAmountof lUSD in your wallet. If your allowance to the redeemer is short, the app chains an exact-amount approval into the same flow — press once, sign twice. - Settlement: your lUSD debt is burned, and the deposited asset lands in your wallet — principal plus yield, minus the 5%-of-yield fee. The number on the card is already net: what you saw is what you got.
Notes
- Short on lUSD? You minted at 80% but spent some of it? Buy the difference on the trade page — or skip redemption entirely and sell the receipt instead; the buyer takes the debt over.
- 0% receipts redeem with zero lUSD — pure yield deposits have no debt leg.
- Redeemed receipts remain in your wallet as inert, marked records. They cannot be listed, bid on, or redeemed again — the market rejects spent claims at every entry.
- Batch operations: select multiple receipts on the receipts page to transfer or list them in one flow; wallets that support atomic batching (EIP-5792) sign once for the lot.
