Buy & sell receipts

The market is where a claim's timeline becomes optional. Everything settles in lUSD, on-chain, against escrow.

Selling

Open app.loomfi.io/marketSell a receipt (or start from any receipt card).

  • If a standing offer exists, the app leads with it: accept for an instant exit — the bidder's escrowed lUSD is yours in one transaction.
  • Otherwise, set your ask. The app anchors your input to the claim's current equity (claim − debt) so you're pricing consciously, premium or discount — no blank box. Listing escrows the NFT; cancel any time to take it back.
  • Batch listing: select several receipts on the receipts page, set one multiplier over equity, and list them in a single flow.

Two things sellers should know: your ask is fixed lUSD — as the claim grows, an untouched listing becomes relatively cheaper until it fills; and while escrowed, the receipt's deposit points still accrue to you, not to the contract.

Buying

Each listing shows the full cashflow — claim, ask, debt to return at unlock, and the all-in lUSD/USDC rate that makes listings comparable regardless of where lUSD trades. Sort by Best rate to see the cheapest claims first.

  • Buy now pays the ask and delivers the receipt in one flow (an exact-amount lUSD approval chains in automatically if needed).
  • Make an offer escrows your bid (minimum 1 lUSD, default expiry 7 days) on a receipt you want at your price. Cancel any time for a full refund. If the seller accepts, the receipt is yours instantly.

What you're buying is the whole position: the claim and its debt. After unlock, burn the recorded lUSD and the principal + yield is yours — you don't need to have been the depositor.

Safety rails

  • Listed receipts are escrowed — they cannot be redeemed or transferred away while you decide.
  • Spent claims can't trade: every market entry point rejects redeemed receipts, so a husk can never be sold to you, listed at you, or settled against your standing bid.
  • Verify the marketplace address against the address book before approving lUSD to anything.
